General Information
- You must register or change your address at least 30 days before an election in Georgia.
- Once you are registered to vote, you will receive a Voter Precinct Card which lists your voting location and representative districts.
- Check your registration and voting information anytime online.

Qualifications to Register
- You must be a citizen of the United States
- You must be resident of Georgia
- You must be at least 17 1∕2 years old (but you can't vote until you turn 18)
Residents of the City of Austell may register to vote through the close of business Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Those who are qualified to register to vote for this election may do so by clicking “Register to Vote” at
or by appearing in person at any of the designated places for registering Cobb County residents. If you have moved into, out of, or within the city limits of Austell and have not notified the Cobb Board of Elections and Registration, please do so no later than October 10, 2023.
Advance Voting will be available between October 16 and November 3. A schedule will be available on the www.CobbElections.org website no later than September 26.
Voters may apply to Vote-by-Mail by submitting an application to the Cobb County Elections Office between August 21 and October 27. Applications can be submitted by mail to P.O. Box 649, Marietta, GA 30061-0649, by fax to 770/528-2458, or by scanning and emailing to absentee@cobbcounty.org.
Applications are available at www.CobbElections.org or at www.sos.ga.gov. Mail-in ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2023, either through the mail or personally delivered.
